JUJU JONES

Juju Jones is an educator in heart and practice. With HOLLA School since our development phase, Juju was, and is, instrumental in designing HOLLA School’s pedagogy, curriculum, and practices. Juju is currently HOLLA School’s Director of School Design and Culture. Over three decades, Juju has worked in the public school system as an educator of students and educators, expertly advancing equitable and excellent education primarily in Portland Public Schools that predominantly serve students of color, as well as psychiatric schools. As a classroom teacher, special education teacher, coach, department chair, highly sought-after professional development facilitator and conference presenter, curriculum designer, and leader. Her own formal education includes a Masters of Science in Special Education from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Montclair State University; she is currently finishing her K-12 administrative certification at Lewis & Clark College.
